Celebrate July 4th in Port A

Every year, during the 4th of July, Port Aransas comes to life with vibrant beach parties, barbecues, and fireworks. Families come to Port A to enjoy the beach and celebrate American patriotism. Over the past three years, Port Aransas has kicked off its July 4th festivities with a Patriotic Parade.

Fireworks in Port Aransas

Port Aransas hosts one of biggest fireworks displays in Texas. Right around dark, on the 4th of July, patriotic enthusiast gather at Roberts Point Park, a classic spot with great views of the shipping channel. The big firework display usually lasts about 45 minutes and can be viewed from just about anywhere in town.

Rockport Art Festival

Located just across the Aransas Bay from Port A, Rockport is a great place to visit around the 4th of July. On July 1st and 2nd, 2017, Port Aransas guests can head to Rockport for the 48th annual Rockport Arts Festival, featuring over 120 artist, live music, and local food. Spot the big tents near Rockport Beach Park and Aransas Bay.

Marking the heart of summer, 4th of July is a great family event in Port A. Slip N’ Slide tournaments, boat parades, and tons of beach activities provide plenty of excitement for the whole family. Port Aransas has endless options for family fun during the 4th of July.
